My Top Favorite Subscriptions of 2021
Previously I mentioned how I have been subscribing to different services because I’m a full-time working mom now, and I have no time to go anywhere and go shopping. Subscriptions make my life so much easier. If it can be delivered to my home or picked up curbside, then I’m for it. Here are my top six picks that I subscribe to and a few extras that almost made the cut.
Blueland
Blueland is my favorite subscription because I love a clean home like any other, but I like that Blueland strives to use as little plastic as possible. I ordered their starter kit, which includes three large bottles for cleaning different areas in the home and one small hand soap bottle. The kit also consists of these little tablets that you drop into the bottle after filling it with warm water, watch it fizz up a bit, and there you go! You can choose when you’d like to order your re-fills that go into the same bottles you first purchase. Set your frequency, and they’ll send you a new set of cleaning refills. I loved them so much that I decided to order their laundry detergent, laundry boost, toilet cleaner, and their dishwasher detergent.
Stixfix
Stixfix is the best. I’ve received so many compliments on the pieces they select for me. I hate spending hours shopping for items. Even online shopping can be time-consuming. So, this makes everything a whole lot easier for me. I give them my body measurements and fill out a quick style survey. They then choose pieces of clothing, accessories, or shoes for me, and I get to decide whether I want it to be a surprise or select the ones I like from their selection. I do the latter. You get to choose to keep or change your stylist. I ended up loving my stylist, and her name is also Amanda, lol.

Amazon
Prime shipping, I mean, do I have to say anymore?
Prose
Prose is definitely on the pricier side, but I have enjoyed using their products. I have tried the Function of Beauty subscription service, but I prefer this one. They are more detailed with their questioner, and their products smell amazing! They make an effort to get your formula right and custom to your hair needs.

Rory
Rory is great because they deliver prescription-strength skin products right to my home, and the best part is I don’t have to go to the dermatologist to get them. I use Retinol to even out my skin tone and texture due to acne scars. Retinol is excellent for acne scars and other issues such as acne and wrinkles. They are pretty pricey, though, so I try to use only a pea-sized amount of the night retinol. Plus, if you have never used retinol before, I would start slow to prevent cracked skin, dryness, and redness. I also use their lash serum to try to grow out my lashes, and it does work if you’re consistent. Unfortunately, your lashes pretty much go back to normal if you aren’t, which has been my case. At least my lashes aren’t as thin as they were after birth, and my pregnancy glow was fading, lol.
Billie
I don’t have the memory capacity to remember to purchase something so small as a blade for my shaving razors. Now, I don’t have to, lol. Billie sent me a razor blade handle in the color of my choosing; then, they periodically sent me the replacement cartridges. They have cute packaging if that’s important to you (to me, it is). They have other things such as lotion, and travel kits, if you need those things too.
Now For a Few That Almost Made the List…
Dazey
A CBD company that offers various products for your CBD needs. I purchased their 100% organic hemp oil for better sleep. As much as I love the oil, I can’t simply afford it, but if you can, and you need a better night’s rest, definitely check them out.
Green chef
Green Chef is so convenient, but like above, I can’t afford the weekly deliveries. It is not worth the tradeoff. The price is too high for me for only 3 to 4 meals (serving for two) a week. Especially if you have a family to feed, this won’t due. Green Chef, I will say, is perfect for singles and to those who have hectic schedules.
Butcher Box
If you love meat or know a carnivore in your life, then this is the right subscription for you. Meat is expensive, and beef prices have gone up, especially for quality grass-fed meat. I originally purchased this box for my husband for Father’s Day and planned on canceling after the first box, but he enjoyed it so much that he asked me to order it two more times. If that doesn’t say something, then IDK what does.
Thrive
Thrive is worth it if you love snacks but not daily basics such as milk and cheese. They charge you extra for items that require a freezer box, among all these sneaky little fees. So simply put, it wasn’t for our family, but if you like snacks that fit your dietary preferences, and have some extra dough to toss, then give Thrive a shot.
I hope you enjoyed reading; please consider subscribing to stay on top of my new blog posts when they come out. Also, “like” this post if you did, and if you want, send me a direct message HERE. I can’t wait to hear from you. The year is almost over, and I would love to get feedback; what am I doing right, what am I doing wrong, what would you like to see more of from me? Thank you.
